The two incidents happened during the early morning hours on Monday, Feb. 12 in the Northern Westchester town of Bedford and the Putnam County town of Southeast, according to Bedford Police and the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.

The Bedford incident occurred at Bedford Pharmacy located at 424 Old Post Rd. (Route 22). Little information about the burglary has been released, but the break-in is currently under investigation, according to Bedford Police.

The Southeast incident happened just before 3:45 a.m. at JNR Pharmacy at 2505 Carmel Ave. (Route 6), when the business's commercial burglar alarm was activated.

Arriving deputies from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office soon discovered that the front glass door had been smashed and that the suspects involved had fled before authorities got to the scene, the Sheriff's Office said.

The store's owner was soon contacted and they are now in the process of determining what was stolen.

The Sheriff's Office is now looking into the incident and attempting to determine if it is related to the Bedford burglary, authorities said.
